SAP to Bank API Integration for Automated Payments & Virtual Account-Based Collections

__Project Overview__
Rihab Technologies Private Limited designed an end-to-end SAP-to-Bank API Integration solution to automate corporate banking transactions directly from SAP.
The solution connects SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA with bank APIs through a secure integration layer such as SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI or Node.js middleware.
The solution covers two major business processes:
Outgoing Accounts Payable Payments – sending vendor / beneficiary payments from SAP to the bank and receiving payment status and UTR back into SAP.
Incoming Customer Collections through Virtual Account Numbers (VAN) – assigning a unique virtual account number to each customer, receiving collection transactions from the bank and automatically allocating payments to the appropriate customer in SAP.
The architecture also supports additional banking services such as:

The solution provides a reusable framework that can be implemented with Axis Bank as well as other banks offering similar API capabilities.
__Business Challenge__
Traditional corporate banking processes often involve manual payment files, internet banking uploads, manual authorization, downloading bank statements and manually reconciling transactions in SAP.
